The Toughest Job

Our unsung leader, Al Heron, spent far, far too much of the week on the road. To and fro between the parish's bigger hardware stores, responding to cell calls by going back for more, tolerating the draconian security policies at all of these stores, and (last but not least) navigating bumpy left-hand-driving roads and Jamaican drivers, Al's constant good humor blessed us all.

  2. We *ALL* thank you lots 'n' lots, Al – may the Lord bless you for being sensitive to and for obeying His leadings! And thank you SO much too Doug for SO eloquently keeping us in sync with your world. Anyone wanna hear what *I* did this week? ;) :D Hmmm…gosh SO many hands shot up but ok I pick you...well, for starters I prayed, along with my dear family in BC, MTL, Brock, and NC, for my wonderful family in Jamaica and did God ever answer our prayer requests!! Whoo-weee!

We pray for journey mercies for you all as you return home tomorrow. May the Lord grant each one of you an uneventful trip and may the soul sitting next to you on the plane tomorrow have an extra good sense of humor and perhaps a poor sense of smell…but hey…what do I know…you all L-O-O-K really sorta kinda clean 'n' N-I-C-E! ;) :D Actually, you all look priceless serving the Lord! And Lucas and I are so proud of the Lord and his children and so thankful for your willing and sacrificial hearts!Incidentally, just an hour ago I was telling a friend in MTL all about what God 'n' Bethel have been up to! Thank you that I had a Jamaican testimony to share all the way from NC to MTL! How God LOVES to network!

Wishing you good sleeps and a very safe trip…tomorrow!
